Ever since childhood, I have been fascinated by electronics and electricity. For me that started with entering the wonderful world of crystal radios and then on to amateur radio. I obtained my novice radio license while still attending high school and now have a General Operator’s license.
I graduated from Western Michigan University with a BA in Business, however, my first job was as a computer programmer for the Upjohn Co. in Kalamazoo, MI. I left that position in 1969 to move to sunny California and took yet another position as a computer programmer; however, electronics and electricity kept calling with a repetitive and unavoidable voice.
In 1970, I vowed never to spend another day at a desk with coding sheets. I wanted to work with tools and, though I had no idea how, I was determined to take a new path.
I entered the most passionate and challenging era of my career when I started working as a handy man for a real estate broker in San Francisco. I wanted to know everything about the electrical trade, as well as plumbing, carpentry and anything associated with those trades. I learned how to do small remodeling projects that required all the various trade skills. However, my love of electricity kept winning out over the other trades and, in 1977, I obtained my California State Contractors License (C-10 #341523) under the name Electric Connection. I incorporated that business in 1983 (C-10 license #469986). In almost 40 years of licensed activity, I have not had one consumer complaint.
I have always had a passion for the electrical trade and I love to be of service. Electric Connection Inc. is at the ready to serve you. Let us be your choice for the your next electrical project!
